Shield of Faith Craft
Let’s hear the story, Ephesians 6:10–17: God loves us so much, and He gives us special armor to help us every day! It’s called the Armor of God. Just like a superhero or a knight wears armor to stay safe, we can wear God’s armor to help us make good choices and be strong. One piece is the Shield of Faith. Faith means we believe in God and trust Him. When we hold up our shield of faith, it helps us feel brave and safe because we know God is always with us. We can pray, read the Bible, and remember that God helps us no matter what! Print your Armor of God Coloring Pages to keep the theme going. Step 1: Gather your supplies! Print your free cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, use markers or crayons to color in your word “Faith”. The cutout references Ephesians 6:16 and the verse is simplified for preschoolers to understand. Be sure to talk about what it means to have faith as a shield. Step 2: Next, use scissors to cut out your two pieces. Wrap your paper plate in tin foil. This makes it look just like a shield! If you don’t have tin foil, that’s ok, you can use gray paint or gray markers to fill in your paper plate. Step 4: Add your finishing touches! I added a bit of glitter to my shield! Show off your shield to your friends and family. Try and memorize the verse on the shield!
