Step 1: Gather your supplies! Print out your acorn craft pieces onto cardstock paper for the best results. Regular computer paper is too thin! Cut out the three acorn pieces with scissors, then get decorating. Use watercolors, markers, or crayons to fill in the stem and cap. I used watercolors. Step 2: Let your cap and stem dry while filling in the bottom of the acorn. Use scissors to cut small squares out of the brown construction paper, this can be done beforehand when prepping for the craft. Use a glue stick and paste squares all over the bottom of the acorn. Using these small pieces to create a new whole is called “collage”.
